Matthew Murer partners with health care providers helping them understand their challenges in a deeper way, while providing them with a broader view of the potential strategies. He has worked with hundreds of providers in resolving licensing and certification issues, and he has significant experience helping providers evaluate their operations and develop strategies for achieving long term strategic goals. Matt consults on regulatory and legislative issues that directly affect the industry. He counsels providers of senior housing, assisted living and skilled nursing, including CCRCs as well as ICF/DDs and CILAs. He advises clients in a variety of areas including general regulatory compliance, life safety code issues, survey issues, OIG/DOJ investigations, audits (RAC, ZPIC), overpayment issues, reimbursement issues (including Medicaid/Medicare Managed Care), contracting issues and Certificate of Need issues.
